SOCOP
******************************************************************************************************
SOCOP is proud to announce its first TAW@WAR Tournament of 2018 on 10 February, at 8:00PM BST.
The selected game is…PARAGON! Paragon is a third-person multiplayer online battle arena video game. Teams of 5 will compete against each other and win by destroying the enemy team’s core in their base. You can reach the opponents' bases through three lanes on each map. Every lane is protected by two defensive towers and an inhibitor; destroying all of these allows a team to spawn more powerful minions and directly attack the enemy core.
The event will be streamed on twitch.com/TAWTV. There will be single elimination matches in a bracket style; which means the team that wins best 2 out of 3 will move on to the next round. The Team or Solog sign-up form is available below. Sign-up deadline is Wednesday, 7 February.

As 2018 rolls in, so does a new year full of tournaments and events! In February, the first of two TAW@WAR events will take place!
What is TAW@WAR? A TAW-Wide Tournament for members to participate and determine whom is a gaming champion amongst all participating members! To insure no one has an advantage, the battlefield will be wiped clean as a non-TAW game will be selected; specifically a game that is F2P and PvP based.
Along with bragging rights, the winner(s) also receive the coveted TAW-Wide Tournament Medal. This medal is exclusive as it is only awarded to two people or teams a YEAR. The Commander in Chief of TAW will present the medal to you directly, accompanied with the 5-star line shared with all other CIC awarded medals.
Another thing that makes this medal special is the cup and laurel wreath; two symbols of champions used throughout history. The laurel wreath was commonly awarded to victors of battlefields and games. Woven from plant materials taken from the fighting grounds, the grass crown was the highest military honor in the Roman Army. The cup is still a common award, even in modern times.
More information about TAW@WAR to come at the end of January, as a special announcement will be made regarding the chosen game.
Prepare for Battle!
“Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood." - George S. Patton
Can't wait to see what this year's game will be! It's going to be Legend....wait for it...
Looking forward to it!
Greetings Everyone! Happy New Year from all of us at SOCOP! As the beginning of a new year starts so
Will definitely be watching all the way through, good luck to all the players and participants
I'm going to have to pull out of the registration. Something came up IRL that I cant skip
Isnt Paragon shutting down because of the whole 5 people that still play it?
When I click on the link you provided for the game it says the game is closing down in APril and I don't see a download option.
@Gumby you'll need to click on "play for free" and then either sign up or register, then you can download the game! :)
