It's great to see you're interested in joining TAW! We have a fairly extensive application system, which ensures that all potential members receive the information they will need and feel welcome here, as well as keeping everything organized. The steps of becoming a member are detailed out below:
Our application system is heavily based around e-mails and/or PMs. Please be sure to keep an eye on the inbox of the e-mail you use to apply (and your spam inbox just incase).
1: Filling in the Application Form
This is a pretty self-explanatory step, and can be achieved by clicking the "Join TAW" graphic in the header of the site. The form will explain and requirements such as password length, and we ask that you please provide a valid e-mail.
2: Division Review
Once you've filled in the application form it will be submitted to the receiving division's staff for review. Typically they may e-mail you or PM you (which will forward to your e-mail) with a few questions, which will need a response for the process to continue.
3: Introduction
If the division is happy to accept you into TAW, you will receive notification via PM. There will be an link included to a short audio presentation, with a few basic questions relating to it, just to check you understand what's been explained.
4. Bootcamp
Finally, you'll be asked to meet with one of our Drill Instructors in TS3 who will do their best to answer any questions you may have, and will give you any division specific information you'll need, such as in-game tags or invites to a Steam group.
5. Final Steps
Once your DI has passed your bootcamp, the system will send you another PM explaining how to generate a Teamspeak token, which will allow you to move to any channel you want. At this point you are considered a full member, and will also be granted access to our member forums, as well as many more Wiki pages with detailed information on TAW's awards, ranks and positions.
