Winter break
As the holiday season approaches, so does the winter break. The winter break this year will last from December 18th to January 2nd, during this time members aren't required to attend battalion events. This is so members can spend time with family during the holidays, without worrying about missing attendance and being marked as AWOL. Events will still be held as usual, so I can encourage joining if you have the time. The winter break affects the following events:
- Week 51: Thu 21 Dec & Sun 24 Dec
- Week 52: Thu 28 Dec & Sun 31 Dec

Positions
There are a few positions currently vacant. Are you interested in one of these positions? You can apply via the battalion form.
Freedom fighter for a day
On the 9th of December @ 19:00 UTC (normal event time), the Antistasi event will take place. This event will last 24 hours.
Antistasi has you and your teammates working as a resistance group to liberate an occupied island from an enemy force.
Players engage in guerrilla warfare, carry out missions, gather resources, and build up your resistance force over time.
We will be playing on the map of Cam Lao Nam (Requires the S.O.G. Prairie Fire CDLC). Cam Lao Nam is a tropical terrain which includes parts of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
It also mixes urban city centres with thick rainforests, sprawling rivers and perilous mountain terrain.

Finance
Our unit depends on donations to pay our server costs. Currently, donations do not cover the full cost per month, and we are running on reserves. These reserves can only keep us going for a certain number of months, before we are out. For this reason I encourage anyone to donate. Just 2€ per member will cover the cost and will let us keep running, even leaving some potential room for a server upgrade. So if you have some spare change lying around, consider donating it so we can keep going!
FailRP
Massive disappointment during operation scorpion: a civilian roadblock was put in place in the first town on the way to the objective, only for bravo squad to turn right around and take a detour to the objective. Based on pictures of the roadblock shown after the fact, it is believed the road was closed due to an accident, but unfortunately we may never find out.

PRACS
As of right now our mod pack includes a set of mods named 'Project RACS 2023' and 'Project RACS SLA 2023'. These mods include some amazing assets that are unfortunately not being used much by mission makers right now. They add many beloved vehicles, aircraft, weapons, emplacements, and even entire Soviet SAM sites. This mod will likely disappear from the pack by the start of 2024, so I urge mod makers to take a look at the possibilities and use PRACS assets before they get removed. The mods include the factions RACS (Royal Army Corps Sahrani) for indfor and SLA (Sahrani Liberation Army) for opfor.
Be warned!
