Greetings fellow TAW members, while we wish you all a happy new year and hope you had a great holiday season, it is on a solemn note that I bring you this news. As we remember fondly the good times of 2015, may we also remember and forever cherish the memory of UncleB. As many of you may already know, on 11-19-2015, a great TAW member passed away. Bradley “Buford” Menting, know as UnlceB in TAW, age 47 of Kimberly, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2015 at his home. Buford was born on September 10, 1968, the younger of two boys, to Joan (Nickel) Menting and the late Dennis Menting. Buford was a 1987 graduate of Kimberly High School. - UncleB had an undying love for his family, his two great nieces, and TAW. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He started his TAW career in Ghost Recon Phantoms, or GRP division on April 6, 2014. He served as a Drill Instructor, Training Instructor, and Field Officer before transferring to the WWS (World of Warships) spin up team in vanguard. UncleB served on the competition teams in both GRP and WWS and was instrumental in setting up competitions in Ghost Recon Phantoms. He was also frequently recognized for his ability to recruit and make people feel welcome within TAW. Based on his flawless conduct, good friendship, distinguished TAW record and all the good times he has shared with us, we are hereby nominating him posthumously for the Medal of Excellence.

It was a pleasure to know and play with UncleB in GRP. He was a valued member and will always be remembered

UncleB will be sorely missed, I regrettably only knew him for a short period but I remember how kind and generous he was to both new and old members. It was a true honor to have known him and I give my deepest condolences to his family.
Fair winds and following seas to you UncleB. Though we have the watch, we know that you will occasionally 'look in' from your new station above.
