Welcome to August’s On The Horizon post. On The Horizon is a monthly blog that focuses on games Vanguard is interested in spinning up. August's On The Horizon features sports games that offer singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay.

F1 2016 is the official Formula One videogame and offers the complete Formula One experience. In F1 2016 career mode you manage a team over the course of ten racing seasons. Success requires testing, car development, and tuning. F1 was released on June 6th for PS4, XBox One, and PC.
Pro Evolution Soccer 17 is the newest entry in the PES series. The developers advertise improved fluidity of gameplay via improved controls, adaptive AI, realistic animations, and balancing changes. PES17 will release on September 15th for PS3, PS4, XBox 360, XBox One, and PC.
Forza Horizon 3 will be set in Australia and features the largest open-world ever created by Playground Games. Forza 3 also offers a four player co-op campaign, and a wider variety of cars than previous Forza Horizon games. FH3 will be released on September 27th for Windows 10 and Xbox One.
FIFA 17 promises the most immersive FIFA experience yet; the Frostbite Engine allows ingame characters to express both realistic movement and emotion. In the singleplayer campaign players will play as Alex Hunter and experience "The Journey" of a professional soccer player. The physics overhaul and new attacking techniques improve the single and multiplayer gameplay. FIFA 17 will release on September 27th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
NBA 2k16 was the fastest selling NBA 2K title in franchise history. 2K aims to improve on its predecessor by offering the most authentic experience possible. 2K17 has better animations and face scan app than 2K16 and releases on September 20th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Moto Racer 4 focuses exclusively on motorcycle racing on two different environments; Off Road and Asphalt. Players will customize their bikes to deal with obstacles, the police, and other players. Race in different locales across the world to prove your dominance. Moto Racer 4 releases on October 13th for PS4, PS VR, Xbox One, Windows, and OS X.
NASCAR Heat Evolution is the first authentic NASCAR game to be released on this generation's consoles. NHE offers the complete NASCAR experience by featuring all 23 licensed NASCAR tracks and over 40 drivers. The engine for NASCAR Heat Evolution has been rebuilt and has a greatly improved damage model. NASCAR Heat Evolution will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th.
iRacing is an online racing simulation accurate enough to function as a training tool. Payment is a subscription model, but updates are continually released that add new vehicles, tracks, and gamemodes. iRacing is expanding its simulation capability with the introduction of dirt surface race tracks in a future update. Start racing today on PC, Linux, and OS X.
