Battlefield 1 DICE 25th Anniversary Battlefest

Starting March 30th, DICE will be starting their second Battlefest for the Battlefield franchise, this time in honor of the 25th anniversary of DICE. This weekend will be packed with events, giveaways, missions and Premium Friends, a new feature DICE is introducing to help people experience the new maps themselves! Lets get into what this Battlefest will include.

Battlefield 1 Premium Friends

• Starting from March 30th, for a test period of 10 days.
• This new feature will allow people with Premium to invite friends into their game parties, and play together on the newly released maps of They Shall not Pass. Players will be able to fully experience the maps with no restrictions, aside from the following:
  • No XP will be granted to users who do not own Premium or the DLC, but instead it will be stored for them till the time when they buy it.
  • Users will not be able to unlock guns or vehicles associated with the DLC, or achieve any of the ribbons or medals or codex in game.

2XP

• Starting March 29th, and ending March 31st, all players will receive double XP on all platforms. 

DICE 25th Anniversary DogTag

• Log in and play between March 30th and April 9th to receive this unique dog tag. 

Daily Scrap Rewards

• Starting March 30th, you can earn up to 100 scraps per day. You can do so by doing the following in game:
  • Play and finish a round of multiplayer to earn 50 scraps
  • Be in the winning team at the end of round to earn 25 scraps
  • Show up in the end game highlights screen to earn 25 scraps.
• Scraps can be used to purchase skins for your guns and vehicles in the Exchange menu in Battlefield 1.

Battlefest Battlepack Revision and Giveaway

• Starting March 29th till April 1st, log in to receive a free battlepack of the Battlefest Revision

Every Friday, starting at 8:00 PM EST, Slamscape, a member of our staff, organizes a play party for people to join and to simply have fun with others. You are welcome to join and play a few rounds with us on the new maps, whether or not you own the DLC, as now, we can have anyone with us! Please feel free to join us Friday, and have a night of pure battlefield chaos!

In other news!

DICE has recently updated their CTE client with a new feature that is highly requested by the community: Platoons!

We can now create platoons that people can join, and from there, members of the platoons can see what other members are playing, as well as join the platoons official servers. DICE hopes to improve on this major feature, and include many more things that the community wants. If you want to read more about this particular feature, visit this link: Platoons Update

With that said, Please do NOT create any platoons for TAW in game. The TAW platoon will be created by the proper people, and announced through the proper channels for everyone wishing to join it. May this serve as a warning.
