Battlefield 1 Spring Update

As of April 27, the Spring/April Update for Battlefield 1 has gone live, and with it, many features were added in, along with general fixes for the game, game modes and weapons. Some of these features are pretty exciting, and and we are here to introduce you to them.
Platoons
Platoons are finally here! With the addition of this feature in game, players can create platoons that other people can join, and see what other platoon members are playing and where, as well as join the platoon servers. Players can now bear the tag and emblem of their platoons, and for in game, squads consisting of platoon members fully will bear the Platoon name, and flags captured will indicate who captured them via a pennant carrying the platoon emblem. More bragging rights for everyone!
The Battlefield Division created an official The Art of Warfare (TAW) platoon for members to join. Currently, there is a limit of 100 members per platoon, and for that reason, only the current battlefield division members will be accepted. We will provide more to other members in the upcoming weeks and days regarding this

Medic Revive Intent
Medics can now indicate to dead players their intent to revive them, by “spotting” them, which makes the medic name blink in the dead player screen.

RSP

In other news
Our beloved DC, Antistreik, has stepped up and accepted the position of Vanguard Division Officer, as he looks forward to helping Vanguard spin even more and more games this year, and with the amount of games coming out this year, they will need all hands on board. To that end, our Division had a few promotions:
- blWoods has stepped up from XO of the NA battalion, to DC of the Battlefield Division. He has been a part of the Battlefield division for many years now, and has been nothing but excellent in any position he occupied. We wish him the best of luck
- sTim has stepped up from XO of the EU battalion, to DO of the Battlefield Division. Like Woods, he has done nothing but excellence for the battlefield division, and we look forward to the amazing outcomes these two will produce due to their amazing dedication.
- Vaikyuko has stepped down from DO to XO of the NA battalion. After all the hard work and effort she dedicated to the Division since her appointment, she requires a pit stop to relax and recharge.
Please join us in congratulating these awesome members on their dedication and commitment to TAW and the Battlefield Division, and please feel free to give them a kick to ensure they receive your congratulations. ![]()
That is all for now, we will bring you more news as they come out!
