Vanguard Update

This month has been a very busy month for Vanguard. VG has undergone numerous personnel changes and we have launched two more units into Army Command.

On February 23rd the World of Warplanes (WP) unit was launched from VG with 72 members and placed into Third Corps. The Spin-Up Leader was Tazmanian and Davsank has been placed as the DC and JordonDummy as the DO.

The War Thunder (WAR) unit was also launched on this date with 100 members and placed into Fourth Corps. The Spin-Up Leader was MrHeadShot and PWRR has been placed as the DC and KalaniJ as the DO.

Kingcheese has stepped down from the VC role to move to OS and help build a strong OS team. I would like to personally thank him for all that he has done to make VG the great place to be. With Kingcheese moving on, this has allowed me to take command of VG and become the new VC with a promotion to MGN. A few other changes have been that NavyChief has stepped up into the role of VLC and been promoted to BGN. He is a welcome edition to the VG team and has already started working on many documents, manuals and other tasks to streamline Vanguard even further.

Unfortunately, iKon has stepped down from the DC position, however his work and time spent in Vanguard has been exemplary and he has helped build VG to be a fantastic place to be. With that, IceDogg has agreed to take up the role of DC and was promoted to COL. He is working hard with Navy already on many different tasks and some projects to improve the Vanguard experience.

We have high hopes for 2014 and hope to continue to bring new and exciting games into the TAW Army, making sure they are properly equipped with the right leaders and the correct attitude and ethos.
