Devops - We are looking for you for TAW 3.0
TAW 3.0 the future of TAW
Hello from all of us in DEVOPS
As some of you may have heard, Development Operations is developing the new TAW 3.0 website. We have been working on the website for some time now, and have made good progress in its design and coding thanks to the great team we currently have.
Currently we have working basic functionality for several major sections of the website, including Events, Attendance, Unit Management, Member Management, User Profiles, Login and Registration, and Database Migration.
So progress is good and consistent.
But there is still a long way to go untill we have a release candidate. With that being said, we are looking for members who have experience in website design and website development for both server side and client side.

6 commentsAlthough I only have experience with the very basic HTML, CSS and JS, I will look into the languages you've mentioned above and see if I can learn anything to help you guys out. To everyone involved - thanks for working to continuously improve TAW!
That is great to hear PlatoonKiller, and hopefully it will also be useful to you personally in the future, learning something new is rarely a waste of time.
Cant code, however, if you need a tester, I would be happy to help with that.

I'm a frontend developer, used to work with Angular in the financial sector, now working exclusively with React/Redux/ImmutableJS. I have experience with most DBs as well as redis as a caching layer. Also built an O(1) lookup autocomplete server on redis but ditched it because the size of the data grew too large for the solution. That meant I got to use ElasticSearch instead though :D
So yeah, mainly frontend dev with a bunch of backend node / Python experience. Let me know if you'd like some help. Also well versed in Linux (I use it all day every day).
I haven't been in TAW that long but I was planning on getting involved either with the website or the server config at some point anyway.
I'm a full stack developer. I work with both Angular and Node/Express for a sales company, and I have worked with Socket.io previously. I don't want to leave my current position in the Heroes of the Storm division but I could contribute a few hours a week if you need it. PM me if there's anyway I can help.
I can work in Node and Angular, the rest should be similar to other tools I have used before. Pm me with more details, time is my main issue.
