SOCOP & NEWS are looking for members/freelancers!

Greetings all! 

Social Operations is currently looking for new members that want  to volunteers to help administer TAW's events and media. 

For those who don't know, SOCOP currently manages TAW’s official Facebook page, Facebook group, Twitter, Reddit, Steam group and Youtube, organise TAW-wide events and provide guidance & support to our Public Information Administrators. 

Our Newsletter division are also looking for either members or freelaners to help draft up our monthly newsletter From The Battlefield. 

Unfortunately we’re on a bit of a reduced headcount right now, and therefore currently willing to take on several people from both the EU and NA regions for all of the outlets above. It’s up to you whether you want to only take on a single platform or multiple ones at once - this can always be changed during your time with us depending on how much time you have available. 

All we ask from anyone that’s willing to join is to try to be available on Teamspeak when possible for any questions/requests coming from the community, mainly PIA’s, along with attending regular meetings, dates/times can be found in the “[SOCOP] Meetings” channel in TS. 

Requirements for all positions within SOCOP/NEWS:

• Active member in good standing  
• 18+ 
• SGT+ rank obtained within TAW (exceptions can be made) 
• Fluent in English (verbally and written)
• Ability to attend regular meetings (SOCOP only)
• Decent general knowledge about social media (SOCOP only)
• Creative mindset & writing skills

Previous experience in one or several the following areas are highly valued:

• Large-scale event management (SOCOP)
• Video & Visual Effects editing  (SOCOP)
• Journalism/Blogging (SOCOP+NEWS)
• Digital marketing (SOCOP
