PROMOTIONS

Both battalions saw some promotions recently, give a round of applause to the following people:

GAME NEWS

Valorant just recently released a new patch, version 1.01, which had some updates and fixes.

-         Sage’s Barrier Orb got nerfed from cast range 20m to cast range 10m

-         Spike rush has a set of 5 randomly selected orbs now. There are also some new orb types:

Healing Orb – teamwide healing effect, 12HP per second for 20 seconds

Deception Orb – Vision reduced greatly for 10 seconds, fake footsteps and gunfire, also mini-map is hidden

Golden Gun – one shot one kill, has 1 round in the chamber and 2 backup rounds, you move at knife speed with this gun, kills give you more rounds

Players can now gain 1 ultimate point for collecting any orb

-         4 of the remaining 7 orb types will be chosen at random

-         The full ultimate orb will always be available

EVENTS & SQUADS

With new a map and agent, we have been using event times to practice and learn new strats through scrims, to prepare us for the relaunch of ranked mode. We hope to soon launch our tournament discord server for more structured competitions. We have recently formed up quite a lot of squads, here they are!

UPCOMING

A possible console port is in prototype phase, meaning there is a possibility for console release in the future! As Valorant is still quite new on PC, a console version is not to be expected anytime soon. New game modes and agent rumor’s are always at the forefront of leaks, with weekly game patches, the game keeps itself as fresh as ever! A lot of new content to be expected in the coming weeks, including the new version of ranked!
