Vanguard Opening: PIA

At the end of the January 2019 Newsletter, Vanguard announced that we are looking for a new PIA.  It was unfortunate that our last one had to step down due to real life, but that left a vacancy that we need to fill to complete our Vanguard Team.

Vanguard PIA is a VITAL position to our team, just as important as being a the VC, VLC, VG DC or DO.  The VG PIA is more than just someone who does the newletters, they are an active member of our team who interact with our divisions.  Below is a list of responsibilities which include but are not limited to.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contacting SUL’s for information so they may write the Newsletter that is published on the 1st of every month.

• Writing the On The Horizon newsletter that is published the 15th of every month

• Writing Blog Posts for Vanguard Divisions when requested (our teams are usually pretty good at keeping this to a minimum).

• Updating & Maintaining Vanguard Wiki

• May be requested to assist with other tasks when needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Good Communication

• Ability to work solo or as a team

• Ability to meet and maintain deadlines

• Ability to think “outside the box”

• Ability to write decent newsletters (not just copy and paste from Steam/Wiki)
