Blizzard first said WoW Classic will launch sometime this summer, and now we have a date. WoW Classic releases August 27.
Blizzard is letting folk into the character creation for WoW classic ahead of official release, starting August 12.
Those with an active subscription can create and reserve up to three characters per account.

As some might have heard, Blizzard is going back to it's roots this fall with the release of World of Warcraft: Classic!
Obviously Vanguard would be excited to establish ourselves in TAW with a game that brought so many joy over the years! Now that is going back to where it all started, who is with us?!
If interested in the game just get yourself a renewal of your old Wow subscription and you are set to go!

Hi Thachicken, this is 'vanilla' World of Warcraft about as it was just before Burning Crusade launched. No Worgen/Goblins, no Blood Elves/Draeni, this still has Talent Trees where you can tailor your character to be a jack of all trades, or hyper specialize down a particular tree. This is World Of Warcraft, where Shamans need to do quests to unlock their Elemental totems, and Druids need to do quests to get their Shape Change abilities. This is Old School World of Warcraft where a PVP match in Alterac Valley can go for days without a winner. No Horde Paladins, No Alliance Shamans. Its about as old school MMO as you can get without creating a time machine!!
The game is free to all World of Warcraft subscribers, so if you play WOW already with an active subscription, you can play WOW Classic.
This is the game that has DEFINED the MMO Genre for the last 15 Years, in its purest, basest form before it was simplified to appeal to a more casual audience. WOW Classic boasts 40 Man Raids, as well as 5 man Dungeons, and large 40 on 40 PVP battles, as well as smaller 10 on 10 matches.
If you referring on details on what server, PvP or pve or etc. Those are details we need to to figure out with the team interested in spinning it up. Showing interest on the form doesn't mean you are committing to an idea but rather shows us in Vanguard there are members interested in making it work in TAW.

Yes we have setup a testing channel for it but not a full unit yet.
What server are we rolling on?
WW1 did a poll and we made Alliance on Myrzael, and Horde on Atiesh, but if an official TAW server can be picked before launce we can change our choice if needed. While WOW Classic is not our focus, we would definitely prefer to support WWC as much as possible!!
