Sea of Thieves has sailed to Steam

The Steam version will include all of the content previously released on the other platforms. This includes the Ships of Fortune update released last April that introduced a new emissary system, allowing players to become an emissary in the game.

Sea of Thieves was a slow burn that has greatly improved over the last two years.

Sea of Thieves is an always online, shared-world adventure game . While your character and levels, such as they are in the game are persistent, the world is not. Every time you load in, you’re given a fresh ship to quickly customise as you’d wish. You can choose between 3 types of ship, the small but nimble Sloop with a choice of either solo or a 2 player crew; The fast but single decked Brigantine (or Briggy as it’s affectionately known) for 3 players, and last but not least, the impressive and formidable Galleon. Maximum firepower and the fastest ship with the wind, but slow to manoeuvre. Anything you’ve found, like storage crates or resources in your last session don’t come with you.

The first time SOT came through Vanguard, it wasn't as successful as we'd hoped for. With all the new content now in the game I feel it would make a great addition here.

funny enough I played it last night with SierraMyDelta. I could see a healthy and full division in TAW.

myself, holyjoe, and possibly cabanaboy; all from the EFT1 group, are willing to help grow this game in TAW as we can through our EFT duties. Joe and I are PL with literally tons of experience and arena wins.
