War Thunder Morning Star TAW Wide Tournament

Do you have what it takes to be the best pilot in War Thunder? Are you ready to watch the flames of your target's plane become the flames of victory? Then sign up for the War Thunder Division's Second 4 v 4 Tournament "Morning star".

The tournament will be open to all of TAW. Members of TAW who are not in the War Thunder Division please fill out https://goo.gl/forms/GxScev3MIwURQWiB3. You will be slotted in with everyone else in that Battalion's bracket and must make the normal mandatory times or schedule your match to participate. War Thunder Staff may participate in this tournament.

(NA Battalion = sat. 18:00 to 20:00 EST)

(EU Battalion = sat. 22:00 to 24:00 GMT)

The players who participate will be divided into brackets (using double random draw), one for each Battalion who participates. Bracket updates will be posted regularly during the tournament time. Brackets will be double elimination with a second comeback bracket to be filled in once the first round is over.

The aces for each Battalion will then face off in a battle of the aces to determine who our "Ace of Aces" is in War Thunder.

Normal matches will be best out of 3 with a double shoot down counting as a null. For a player to achieve victory, the player must remain alive for 30 seconds after achieving the kill. This will be indicated by the ticket counter reaching zero on the opposing team and being forced to the score page. The battle sky will be Airfield Domination Stalingrad with the objectives ignored and the time limit set to 10 min. In the case of time running out without a shoot down occurring, each player will be judged by the end of game score to encourage aggressiveness. One staff or officer member per game will be necessary.

The following custom game setting will be utilized for each match:

The planes will be set to any country with a maximum of battle rating 1.3 planes. Any tier 1 plane will be accepted with any load out, including premium planes. Battle rating limit is 1.3. Chance it with a bomber and counter it with rockets, the strategy of each map will be dictated by the players.

The tournament starts at Oct 28 at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm PT time

Matches can be supervised by anyone who holds a position within the TAW War Thunder Division. Results should be emailed to grimsunlake@taw.net. Replays should be emailed to grimsunlake@taw.net for Social Media purposes. By entering the tournament you consent to releasing gameplay footage for social media and advertisement purposes relating to TAW.

Once again please post on the forum post if you wish to be bracketed for this tournament. Last minute entries will not be accepted past October 28 at 12 AM PT time.
