Vanguard Constructing the Future

As most of you know Vanguard is a hub of activity as always, and with MGN "The Workanator" Kingcheese at the helm things are running pretty smoothly. I would like to now take this opportunity to congratulate Kingcheese on his 5 year service medal that he was recently awarded he is the example officer/member of TAW and serves us all from the front. It has been a happy and sad month for VG, we have had to lose some games through lack of interest and some through the good and benefit of The Art of Warfare. However on a lighter note we have also gained some awesome games which should pan out to be hits within TAW.

With our DC iKon now in full swing and working hard to secure the future of TAW and our newly brought in DO DukeNukem the Horizon Division (VG) in now in full flow allowing us to bring even more games into TAW without the fear of the administration chain to remove them if they are not successful. We also now have an officer from every region in TAW allowing us more connection with all of you. I would also like to point out that our DC just recently tried to retire his CoC and has been awarded a nice Gump medal for it check out the Gump medal here

We are constantly searching for the next game to place into TAW, I think currently Kingcheese is working on a 2 games out 4 games in policy much to my delight!!!! All jokes aside we really are motoring ahead and getting the games that you the members want to see, so many of you have put in game requests and its nice to be able to let you have your say and implement so many games. Keep the suggestions coming and who knows you may be the next XO or CO of the game you love, just keep in mind that it must fit TAW criteria and must be a team game.

As big as the workload can get sometimes I just wanted to personally say some things about VG and how it works, VG has some great staff and some great games on the books, being Vanguard Lt Commander has allowed me to work with some of the best in TAW and it always gives me great satisfaction to see a team succeed, currently things are a bit hectic at home with the 7 week old keeping me tired but on my toes !!! Saying that seeing the team work tirelessly to ensure that the games that come to the TAW Army are suitable and well oiled machines still remains the most important part of all the VG staff.

To list everything that goes on in the day of the life of VG Staff would take a few pages so I will just finish this introduction with saying, we endeavour everyday to make sure you all get what you want, its our goal to serve you all and guide units into TAW, thank you to all those that help with the games and the time you spend making sure that we continue to bring TAW a bright future.

Lets take a look at some of the games currently in VG and some of the ones currently in Horizon Division....
