Tell us about your history in TAW.

I have been in TAW for six years now. When I joined Ghost Recon I was under Operator/Bagger / Hatchet and learned a lot from them. I never left Ghost Recon but did join the graphics team in operation support for a couple of years as a dual member. I produced many many avatars and signatures for the members of TAW. While being a dedicated member of ghost recon I have held the position of squad leader-Staff Officer two times-Executive Officer two times-Commanding Officer two times and now I am currently holding the Division Officer position.

 

What was your initial impression of TAW?

I had never been in a organization like this before and thought it would be something great to be a part of. The longer I stayed in TAW the more I realize that this was a organization that I wanted to stay with for a very long time.

 

Tell us about your division, and what you do there.

Our division is the oldest current running division in TAW. This division has many members with more than one year of membership. Several with two/three/four and five years of dedicated membership and myself with now six years of dedicated membership to this division. I am now serving as Division Officer of this division with the rank of Lieut. Cmdr, making sure that we follow TAW policies and code of conduct.

 

What would you like someone considering joining TAW to know?

That we live by a code of ethics and our own policy that keeps us honest and in fire play. We have a military style structure that permits us to advance in rank and positions as we gain experience and knowledge.

 

Do you have any special hobbies or activities outside of TAW?

My special hobby is riding my cruiser motorcycle.

 

If you could change one thing about TAW, what would it be?

Nothing

 

Tell us about some of the people you've met during your time in TAW.

"I have met so many people during my time in TAW. Some have been so helpful in educating me in becoming a better offer in TAW. I'm 62 now and still learn new things about being a leader. I have seen so many good people come and go in this Division. For some it just wasn't meant for them to be in TAW for a lot of years."

 

What's your favourite thing about TAW?

The military leadership structure which provides for a fair and controlled environment.

 

How does TAW affect your offline life?

It doesn't

 

What might our readers be surprised to know about you?

Probably my age. I doubt if there is a lot of us over 60.

 

What's your favourite retro videogame? Why?

World of Tanks. It wasn't too complicated to learn and I just like the way it's all laid out.

 

Who do you believe is going to be the most influential figure in gaming in the next three years?

Wargaming
