Hello all and  welcome to radios Holiday Newsletter. We ask you to pull up a chair next to the fire and savor our Holiday Newsletter.

New Station New Numbers

Here at TAW Radio we are very happy to see our dedicated fans tune into their favorite radio station. As we have made the transition to a new radio platform, we are happy to report increased listenership and a wide set of programs to cater to a diverse taste of listenership. Here are some quick facts showing your dedication. Since our launch in November 19th 2018, we have had over 500 unique listeners in USA and over 400 in Canada. The most active listeners we've had at one given time is 24 listeners! These numbers show our increased viewership and shows us that TAW radio is booming. As always we would like this number to increase, but we are happy to see your continued support in our station. 

Promotions and Transfers

Being an active radio station means having lots of change to keep up with the demand of our active listenership. It is our pleasure to congratulate the following members on their promotions in [SOCOP 2].

Next we would like to recognize the transfer of members into SOCOP 2 as new DJ's 

Druxus

We would like to welcome Druxus our newest DJ to TAW Radio. Druxus is an NA DJ that specializes in country music. Before he transferred to radio, Druxus was a part of Video Development. Catch his Hot Country Show Wednesday evenings 9-11 EST.
Hoorah to all of our promoted officers and transfers this month. If you see any of these members in channel feel free to congratulate them with a Hoorah or celebratory kick of your own as we welcome them into our ever expanding team.

Donations

Similar to other battalions, TAW radio has operating fees similar to server fees and cannot run on just hard work alone. If you enjoy the services our excellent DJ's provide through their talk shows, prize giveaways, and other services, please consider donating a little to help radio continue to prosper.

Community Outreach, Let your voice be heard
As of this holiday newsletter radio has one survey out. This survey is designed to improve your TAW radio experience and offer options for the community to utilize Radio to its maximum capabilities
 Our  survey is on the radio website and serves as a feedback form for our loyal listeners to fill out and give us insight on how they believe we can improve radio to best suit their needs. This survey has a large impact on the music that is played and content that is delivered to you.  Every single comment is recorded and taken into consideration by our station managers and other support staff. If there is anything that you would like changed to make radio better suit your needs, be a part of the change you wish to see and fill out the survey today.

QuantumDEF [SOCOP 2SO]

This holiday season, SOCOP would like to introduce a new event! The catch is… the event will take place on the TAW forums.

So as a warm up for (hopeful) future monthly events, we have decided to run a fishing event over the holidays starting from 12/13/18 until 1/4/19. The goal is to provide members a fun activity to do over the holiday break.

The rules are simple:

1. Play any game in which you can fish (does not have to be a TAW game)

2. Take a screenshot of your fish showing Preferably with the it’s fish’s weight and post it on the event forum - http://taw.net/forums/t/25921.aspx

3. Only one fish may be submitted for your entry

   • If you wish to submit a second better fish, please note such in your post.

If your game does not allow for weight to be shown, we encourage you to participate as well. We will have a second winner decided for those as well.

Also, if you choose to fish in real life, be my guest. Please post this screenshot on the thread, but be warned… they may show up on Facebook later XP.

Winners will be announced the following Saturday, January 5th. The reward is a “great job”, but this is for fun to give people something to do over the break.

Hey guys!

Social Operations (SOCOP) is currently looking for active members who would be interested in taking over a position as PIA liaison.
We are also still looking for someone to join our Video Development and help IrishPanda out! and if you want to become a Radio DJ, that's always possible, always good to expand our roster! ;)

If you decide to transfer, your duties will include but not be limited to assisting Army divisions with their social media output as well as helping them organize events.

You will be working closely with the divisions (acting) PIA and also help finding a suitable member for this position if a division doesn't have the PIA position filled.
